Coach's biography

Jeremy started playing chess competitively in 2008 and has since competed in many tournaments locally and abroad. He has represented BC five times at the Canadian Chess Challenge, and twice became Canadian Champion for his grade. In addition, Jeremy was the 2013 U16 BC Champion and represented Canada at the World Youth Chess Championships that year.

Wanting to share his knowledge and experiences, Jeremy started teaching at VCS in 2014. He helped develop our National Preparation Program and continues to teach private and group classes. As a coach, Jeremy hopes to inspire the next generation of junior players in BC with his fun and engaging teaching style.
