Vancouver Rapid Chess Team Championship 2013-2014
What is Vancouver Rapid? This is an annual friendly tournament between various teams in BC, this season we have UBC, Wildcard, PoCo, Chigorin, BC Juniors, VCS Teachers & VCS Students teams. The tournament has 7 monthly matches start in September 2013 and ends in April 2014. Teams will play against each other in the monthly matches and score will be accumulated. The top 4 teams will enter semi-final, then final. Last year's winner was VCS team.
Location: Vancouver Chess School #252-4255 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, B.C.
Date: Friday, once per month except semi finals & final
Eligible: By Invitation only
Format: 3 rounds in every match. 7 matches in total. Unrated
Time Control: G/25 minutes plus 5 sec increment
Chess sets and clocks are provided
Time: Check in time: 6:00-6:15pm. First round starts at 6:30pm
