Date: Oct 25-26 (Saturday & Sunday) 

Check in:Saturday between 9:30-9:45am

Section:  Open

Prizes:  $2500 based on 50 entries 

Guaranteed first prize of $600 in Open section 

All 3 sections including Open will have class prize for 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners 

 

Eligibility: All adults are welcome. For junior grade P-12: Minimum ratings of CFC 1100 is required. Subject to TD approval if rating is below 1100 CFC 

 

 

Ratings:  CFC & CMA rated. Valid CFC membership is required.  

Annual membership of $38 adult or $25 junior, tournament membership of $16 adult or $8 junior. You can register or renew online before the tournament or pay cash onsite.

Chess notation is required. Please bring your own scorebook. 必需作象棋记录。请自备象棋记录本 

 

Time Control:  G/60 (or equivalent)

Format:  6-round Swiss format 

 

Bye Request  轮空要求:  If you cannot attend all 6 rounds, maximum of 2 half point byes (except last round) is allowed. Request must be made at least ½ hour before the round starts. 如果你不能参加所有5个回合，你必须在赛前半小时请求不超过2次半分轮空（除最后一轮）

 

Chess sets and clocks are provided. 提供象棋和棋钟。

$50 by Oct 18 (early bird discount); $60 regular; $75 on site.  

Sibling discount: $10 off for 2^nd member or higher in the family
