Based on the experiences of professional chess players, Blitz chess helps players use their time wisely under shorter time controls, and to think in the fastest way possible. They are also trained to effectively and promptly assess the moves made by their opponents. It teaches you to recognize key points, and critical positions and know when to think in a blitz game. One learns quick pattern recognition and to practicing attacking.  A large part of attacking is instinct (which can be developed) since there are a lot of positions in which there is no way anyone could calculate all the possibilities. Most importantly it is a thrilling experience for all players!
