🧠 Embark on a timeless journey through the world of chess with Vancouver Chess School's Sunday Chess Club. Available year-round, our club offers a continuous adventure into the realm of chess, ensuring every Sunday is filled with strategy, learning, and fun.

😊 Immerse yourself in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where learning and competition merge into a thrilling experience for students of all grades P–12.

🍕 To make your Sundays even better, we offer free pizza for all participants — the perfect chance to socialize and connect with friends!

🗓️ Club Overview:

🕐 When: Sunday, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
📍 Where: Vancouver Chess School, Jericho Village Shopping Centre, #312-2083 Alma Street, Vancouver, BC
👥 Who: All grades P–12 (Basic knowledge of chess required)

🎯 Dynamic Chess Activities:

Engage in exciting formats like Rapid, Blitz, Blindfold, and Bughouse ♟️. Solve puzzles 🧩, analyze games 🔍, and join fun activities like chess simuls and themed tournaments covering openings, middlegames, and endgames. You can even complete homework 📝 under the supervision of our instructors!

💡 Club Features:

• ⏳ Flexibility: Come and go as you please! Join or leave activities at your own pace.
• 🎲 Variety: From themed tournaments (like Sicilian Defense) to Bughouse and Chess960 — there’s something for everyone!
• 👨‍🏫 Experienced Coaches: Supervised by expert instructors to ensure safety, fun, and learning.

ℹ️ Important Information:

• 🚗 Drop off/Pick up: Any time between 1:00–5:00pm. Children must be signed in/out by authorized individuals.
• 🥤 What to Bring: Snacks and water (nut-free only, please!)
• 📵 Gadgets: Please leave electronics at home.

Vancouver Chess School (VCS) may capture photos and videos during events for promotional use (marketing, website, and social media). If you prefer your child’s image not be used, please notify us in writing beforehand.
