This is our final qualifier event to the Canadian Youth Chess Championship (CYCC) which will take place in Windsor, Ontario from Jul 5-8, 2016. Players who scored 50% at this qualifier and meet Chess Federation of Canada requirements for residency or citizenship will qualify for the CYCC.  

这次锦标赛将是最后一场晋级CYCC（加拿大青少年国际象棋锦标赛）的资格赛了。

CYCC将于2016年7月5至8日在安省的Windsor举办。在资格赛中拿到了50%以上的分数，并且符合加拿大国际象棋协会所规定的居民或公民资格的棋手，将有资格参加今年的CYCC。 

 

Location: Vancouver Chess School     温哥华国际象棋学校

Columbia College  438 Terminal Avenue, Vancouver

*Door opens at 10:00 am only. Tournament hall is located on the 4th floor, room 412

*Street parking and underground parking ($2 per hour)

*Note no "U-turn" is allowed on Terminal Avenue.  

 

           Please show up at least 5 minutes before round starts. We will start the clock according to the schedule shown below.

Qualification资格	For all B.C. students under 18 years old. Girls can choose to play in this event (OPEN) or "All Girls only Chess Champion"

	2nd round – 11:30am
	3rd round – 12:30pm
	Lunch after round 3
	4th round – 1:45pm

	Awards – estimated at 3:45pm  Champion Trophies to the winners of best under:  Changed! U8/U10/U12/U14/U16/U18  Medals if scored 3 points or more  Players will be eligible to join CYCC in Windsor if you scored 50% at this qualifier 棋手在资格赛中拿到了50%以上的分数将有资格参加 今年在安省Windsor举办的CYCC (Canadian Youth Chess Championship)

 

Time Control: Game/25minutes with 5 seconds increment 

Chess sets and clocks are provided      提供象棋和棋钟。 

Individual Tie Breaker (applies to Junior Open only) 个人决胜局 :

1. Direct Encounter (Head to Head)

2. Cumulative Score

3. Opposition Cumulative Score 

 

Bye request: If you cannot attend all rounds, maximum of 0 half point byes (except last round) is allowed. Please email us with your request or inform TD at least ½ hour before round starts

Registration fees:  $30     

Sibling discount $5 off for 2^nd member or higher in the family

No onsite registration is allowed. All participants must register and pay online in advance for pairing purposes.
