Great teachers and a wonderful environment for kids to learn chess and practice in tournaments - has been an exceptional experience for our daughter.

A very good chess school! Urna is not only a champion but also an instructor who knows how to teach very young children. My daughter is a Kindergartener; she loves to come to the chess classes every Sunday morning!

We highly recommend Vancouver Chess School, where the child has been studying for more than a year and has made great progress.
The teachers are conscientious and constantly motivate the children to practice and complete the exercises every day, and there are many children who love chess here, and they are very good at a very good level, and there are many opportunities to make progress together.
Thank you very much for your hard work.

We are very pleased with the Vancouver Chess School! My child is very enthusiastic in participating in the variety of activities, pro D days, tournaments and classes they offer. The school is managed very well and the team is super friendly, professional and supportive. It is clear that the teachers care about your child’s progress and learning experience. Highly recommended.

This is a great place if your kid is interested in chess, or you want them to develop their interests. It’s not just a school, but feels more like a community. My son loves Sunday chess club. He gets to play against other kids and hone his skills in a relaxed environment, eat pizzas, and hangout. He’s made friends there and is happy to go every week or on pro D days. The school organizes many tournaments. There is opportunity for competition every week. All the teachers have been wonderful and caring. I highly recommend others to give it a try, and if your kids develop a love for chess, then you’ve found a stable activity for them every weekend. The only downside is, my son drags me to play with him everyday and I don’t want to play chess anymore!
